Meet Your Hosts
We’re a family-run business based in East Sussex. My husband and I travel with you throughout your entire journey, and my brother — a local Sri Lankan guide — welcomes you home there.
We started Prara Ceylon because we saw so many people who loved to travel, but felt nervous about going alone or joining a massive coach tour where they'd just be a booking number.
We wanted to create something different. A gentle, personal holiday where you are looked after from the moment we meet at the airport, to the moment we drop you back home. You'll never be just a booking number — you'll be our guest.
Your Guides
You won't be passed around a rotating team of strangers. We are your hosts, your guides, and your companions.
Your UK Hosts
We handle all the logistics, hold your hand through the airports, and make sure you are comfortable and happy throughout the journey.
Your Sri Lankan Guide
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, he knows the hidden gems, the best local food, and the history behind every temple. He drives you personally in his own comfortable vehicles.
